Non-Smoking Ships
HSHI has prohibited smoking on all of the ships under construction at Dock and Quay since April 1 to prevent serious accidents on the ships, such as fire, explosion, etc.
Smoking at Dock and Quay is only allowed at the designated smoking areas(16 places in total), such as 7 places at Dock No. 1, 5 places at Dock No. 2, 2 places at Quay No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
The smoking areas at Dock are arranged near service towers and engine room bridges, while smoking areas at Quay are arranged in front of the middle of ships.
At present, LPG/LNG carriers is under construction in HSHI so that HSHI is reinforcing safety standard /control.
