Construction Work for LNGC Commenced

The first steel cutting for a 177,000㎥ LNG carrier ordered by MOL of Japan was carried out in HSHI on March 17. Trial Run for Load-Out System

HSHI conducted a trial run for load-out system on March 13 before on-ground construction site(No. 1 Berth) is completed. The trial run started by lifting VLCC blocks with four carriers. HSHI will commence on-ground shipbuilding work after completion of submerging test for floating dock by the end of March. HSHI will construct 2 ships in 2008, 9 ships in 2009 and 12 ships in 2010 in No. 1 Berth. No. 1 Berth measures 465m in length and 65m in width
