Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI) delivered a 5,000 TEU containership on June 2 and an 113,000-dwt Crude Oil Tanker on June 9.

The 5,000 TEU containership, which measures 294.1m in length, 32.20m in width and 22.10m in depth with a service speed of 25 knots, was the ninth of 18 containerships, ordered by NORDCAPITAL of Germany. The ship was named APL VIRGINA.

The 113,000-dwt Crude Oil Tanker, which measures 240.44m in length, 44m in width and 21m in depth with a service speed of 15 knots, was the sixth of 11 crude oil tankers, ordered by Marmaras of Greece. The ship was named DEEP BLUE.

At present, HSHI has nine 8,200 TEU containerships for NORDCAPITAL and five 164,000-dwt crude oil tankers for Marmaras in its backlog, while delivered sixteen ships so far this year.
