HSHI held a joint naming ceremony for two 5,600 TEU containerships ordered by Offen of Germany on September 26, 2005.

The former ship was named MSC Marta by Mrs. Marta Vasconcelos and the latter ship was named MSC Carolina by Caroline Lorente in the presence of Mr. Carlos Vasconcelos, president of MSC Portugal and Mr. Francisco Lorente, president of MSC Valencia, Mr. Kang Soo-hyun, CEO of HSHI, and 50 other quests.

The ships measure 275m in length, 40m in width, and 24.2m in depth with a service speed of 26.1 knots. HSHI has delivered 22 vessels so far this year.
