Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI) held a joint naming ceremony for two 4,100 TEU Containerships ordered by Oltship of Germany on October 11.

The former ship was named JPO LIBRA by Mrs. Ute Oltmann and the latter ship was named JPO PISCES by Miss. Anika Oltmann in the presence of Mr. Jan Oltmann and Mr. Peter Oltmann, co-presidents of Oltship, Mr. Kang Soo-hyun, CEO of HSHI and 50 other guests.

The ships measure 264m in length, 32.25m in width and 19.3m in depth with a service speed of 24.7 knots.

JPO LIBRA was delivered to the Owner on the naming day and JPO PISCES was delivered on October 14, while HSHI has delivered two 4,100 TEU containerships to Oltship in July as well.

It was the first time for the owner to place a new shipbuilding order and the owner appreciated HSHI for the successful construction and delivery of all four ships.

HSHI has delivered 26 vessels so far this year.
