Mr. Kang Soo-hyun, senior executive vice president _ CEO of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI), was promoted president _ CEO of HSHI and Mr. Lee Sueg-chuel, executive vice president of Engine _ Machinery Division in Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI), was newly appointed as senior executive vice president of HSHI.

Beginning from senior executive vice president of HSHI in 1999, Mr. Kang was promoted CEO in June and president in December, 2005.

Since appointed in HSHI, Mr. Kang leaded HSHI to consecutive black finance since 2001 and diversified newbuilding ships from bulk carriers and tankers to containerships, PCTCs, LPG/LNG carriers and FPSO.

At present, HSHI has a backlog of seventy-five ships including seven VLCCs, fifteen gigantic containerships over 8,000 TEU, six PCTCs, two LPG carriers, three LNG carries and one FPSO.
