Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI) received a repeated order for six 318,000-dwt VLCCs from NSCSA of Saudi Arabia.
NSCSA placed an order for two 318,000-dwt VLCCs to HSHI in 2004 as well.
The ships measure 333m in length, 60m in width, 30.4m in width with a service speed of 16. 7knots.
NSCSA manages crude oil carriers, petrochemicals carriers, ro-ro multipurpose ships, and containerships including container yard.
As for VLCC orders, HSHI has a backlog of sixteen VLCCs ordered by NSCSA, NITC, SAMCO and ENESEL.
