HSHI received an order from P_O NEDLLOYD of the Netherlands for two 8,600 TEU containerships. The containerships measure 334m in length, 42.8m in width, 24.8m in depth with a service speed of 25.6 knots. P_O NEDLLOYD is one of the world's leading container shipping company that operates a modern fleet of 156 vessels with a standing capacity of 428,000 TEU, calling at 217 ports in 99 countries.

At present, as for gigantic containership orders over 8,000 TEU, HSHI has a backlog of seventeen containerships consisting of nine containerships from NORDCAPITAL, four containerships from CMA CGM S.A. and two containerships from Hyundai Merchant Marine Co., Ltd. including two containerships from P_O NEDLLOYD.

Meanwhile, HSHI has received an order for twelve vessels since this year and a backlog of seventy-nine vessels.
