HSHI held a naming ceremony for a 105,000-dwt crude tanker ordered by Novoship of Russia on May 19. The naming ceremony was finished successfully in the face of typhoon.

The ship was named NS Consul by Mrs. Tatiana Prokopenko, specialist on public relationship of Novoship in the presence of Mr. Evgeny Kostyuk, vice present _ director of technical department of Novoship, Mr. Kang Soo-hyun, CEO _ president of HSHI and 50 other guests. The ship was delivered on the same day.

The ship measures 244m in length, 42m in width and 21m in depth with a service speed of 14.6knots.

HSHI received an order for two 105,000-dwt crude oil tankers from Novoship and delivered both ships.
