Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI) accomplished 10,000,000 GT(139 ships in total) for six years and six months since the company’s foundation in November, 1999 as of the delivery of a 9,400 TEU containership ordered by CMA CGM S.A. of France on May 12.
HSHI has delivered 139 ships in total consisting of 12 VLCCs, 56 crude oil carriers and/or product carriers, 38 bulk carriers and 33 containerships during that time, while by regional groups, 115 ships were delivered to Europe, 22 ships were delivered to Asia and 2 ships were delivered to USA.
Meanwhile, HSHI will accomplish 20,000,000 DWT in December after three years pass since HSHI accomplished 10,000,000 DWT in December, 2003.
