HSHI held a joint naming ceremony for two 8,200 TEU containerships ordered by Nordcapital of Germany on September 7.
The former ship was named E. R. Toyko by Mrs. Cho, wife of Mr. Cho Duck-sang, executive vice president of HHI and the latter ship was named E. R. Texas by Mrs. Heike Glueck in the presence of Mr. Hans-Juergen Kaiser-Blum, Managing Director of Nordcapital, Mr. Kang Soo-hyun, President _ CEO of HSHI and 50 other guests.
The ships measure 335m in length, 42.8m in width and 24.6m in depth with a service speed of 25.3knots and the sixteen and seventeen containerships ordered by Nordcapital.
