Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HSHI) received orders from Marmaras of Greece for five 158,000-dwt crude oil tankers, from Teekay of Canada for two 159,000-dwt crude oil tankers, from Centrofin of Greece for two 159,000-dwt crude oil tankers and from Minerva of Greece for two 159,000-dwt crude oil tankers.
The crude oil tankers will measure 274m in length, 48m in width, 23.1m in depth with a service speed of 15.8 knots.
Especially, for the first time, HSHI will construct four crude oil tankers of 11 tankers not in dry dock but in the floating dock.
