HSHI delivered an 8,200 TEU containership to Nordcapital of Germany on October 18. The ship was named E. R. Texas.
The 8,200 TEU Containership measures 335m in length, 42.8m in width and 24.6m in depth with a service speed of 25.25knots.
Nordcapital placed an order for 18 containerships, consisting of two 4,300 TEU containership, seven 5,000 TEU containerships and nine 8,200 TEU containerships to HSHI. HSHI has delivered 17 containerships to the owner so far, while an 8,200 TEU containerships remain in its backlog.
Meanwhile, HSHI has delivered 24 ships so far this year.
