Construction Work for LPGC Commenced

The first steel cutting for a 155,000㎥ LNG carrier ordered by BP Shipping of England was carried out in HSHI.
The 155,000㎥ LNG carrier is the first LNG carrier to be built in HSHI and will measure 288m in length, 44.2m in width, 26m in depth with a service speed of 20 knots.
At present, as for newshipbuilding projects for gas carriers, HSHI has a backlog of three LNG carriers and two LPG carriers including a 155,000㎥ LNG carrier ordered by BP Shipping of England, a 155,000㎥ LNG carrier ordered by Teekay of Canada, a 177,000㎥ LNG carrier ordered by MOL of Japan and two 82,000㎥ LPG carriers ordered by A.P. Moller of Denmark.
