HSHI held a spring gathering for owner’s and class supervisors and their families to have an outdoor activity with fresh green and warm temperature on May 21.

They divided into two groups. One group went hiking at Mt. Wochul and the others went sightseeing at Muwisa Buddhist temple and green tea hill.

Mt. Wolchul is one of national park in Korea. Wochul means “mountain where the moon rises” and it has fittingly beautiful natural scenery. Starting with the Cheonhwangbong Peak(809m) at the center, the whole area is filled with rock mountain peaks which all look unique and special.

Muwisa Buddhist temple, built in 617, is famous for elegant architecture and mysterious wall painting. A broad space without pillars can be found and many Buddhist saint’s paintings, which are thought to be original works of Oh-Doja, one of the most famous portrait artists, hang on the wall inside.
