HSHI conducted a trial run for load-out system on March 13 before on-ground construction site(No. 1 Berth) is completed.
The trial run started by lifting VLCC blocks with four carriers.
HSHI will commence on-ground shipbuilding work after completion of submerging test for floating dock by the end of March.
HSHI will construct 2 ships in 2008, 9 ships in 2009 and 12 ships in 2010 in No. 1 Berth.
No. 1 Berth measures 465m in length and 65m in width with the support of a 1,200 ton goliath crane and two 50 ton LLC.
The floating dock measures 335m in length and 70m in width, 14.5m in depth with the support of two 45 ton LLC.
