Two 10,000 TEU Containerships Ordered
HSHI received an order from Zim of Israel for two 10,000 TEU containerships with one option ship.
Two 10,000 TEU containerships is the repeated order of five 10,000 TEU containerships Zim made an order last year.
The 10,000 TEU containerships will measure 349m in length, 45.6m in width, 27.3m in depth with a service speed of 25.8 knots.
As a result of this order, HSHI has a backlog of 11 containerships for Zim consisting of seven 10,000 TEU containerships and four 8,200 TEU containerships.
